About Us

Founded in 2016, 8D Photonics was created to fill a need in wafer level characterization of the minority carrier lifetime in infrared (1 micron to 16 micron wavelength) device wafers. We have since expanded our vision to include FTIR based photoluminescence mapping and provide point measurement lifetime systems for use in your own setups.

Headquartered in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, USA, 8D Photonics is nestled at the base of the Sandia Mountains on the southern stretch of the Rockies.
